Grow in Your Faith
Coming to faith is just the beginning. Here you'll find practical tools — reading plans, devotionals, prayer guides, and more — to help you walk with God every single day.
Where to Begin
Four Pillars of Spiritual Growth
Healthy spiritual growth doesn't happen by accident. These four practices — rooted in Scripture — form the foundation of a life that looks more and more like Christ over time.
Read the Word
Scripture is the primary way God speaks to us. Regular Bible reading — even just a few chapters a day — shapes how we think, what we value, and how we see the world.
Pray Consistently
Prayer is simply talking to God — and listening. It doesn't require a formula. Start with honesty: tell Him what you're grateful for, what you're struggling with, and what you need.
Find Community
Faith was never meant to be lived alone. Connecting with other believers — in a local church or small group — provides accountability, encouragement, and the chance to serve others.
Serve Others
One of the clearest signs of spiritual growth is a growing desire to give rather than just receive. Serving others — in your church, neighborhood, or community — deepens your faith.
2 Peter 3:18
"But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and forever!"
Bible Reading
Reading Plans to Get You Started
Start Here: The Gospel of John
The Gospel of John is the perfect starting point. Written so that you may believe, it walks you through the life, words, and miracles of Jesus in a deeply personal way.
Psalms: Honest Prayers
The Psalms are raw, honest conversations with God — full of praise, lament, doubt, and trust. Reading them teaches you that all of your emotions are welcome before God.
Romans: The Foundation of Faith
Romans is the most systematic explanation of the gospel in the entire Bible. It covers sin, grace, justification, sanctification, and the life of faith in remarkable depth.
Daily Devotionals
A Few Minutes with God Each Day
God's Grace
Grace for Today
"My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." — 2 Cor. 12:9
Grace is not just the door through which we enter salvation — it is the air we breathe as believers. Today, wherever you feel weak or insufficient, that is precisely where God's grace is most at work.
Reflection Question
Where in your life do you most need to receive God's grace today rather than striving in your own strength?
Take a few minutes to sit quietly with this question. You may want to write your thoughts in a journal. There are no right or wrong answers — just honest conversation with God.
Prayer Guide
Learning to Pray
Prayer is one of the most powerful and most misunderstood practices in the Christian life. Many people feel like they don't know how to pray — or that their prayers aren't "good enough." The truth is, prayer is simply honest conversation with a God who loves you.
Jesus gave His disciples a model prayer — what we call the Lord's Prayer — not as a script to recite, but as a pattern to follow. It covers adoration, surrender, daily needs, forgiveness, and protection.
"Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven..."
— Matthew 6:9-10
Adoration
Begin by praising God for who He is — not what He does, but His character. His holiness, love, faithfulness, and power.
Confession
Honestly acknowledge where you've fallen short. God already knows — confession is for your benefit, to restore the relationship.
Thanksgiving
Thank God for specific blessings — both the obvious ones and the ones you might overlook. Gratitude shifts your perspective.
Supplication
Bring your requests to God — for yourself and for others. Be specific. He invites you to ask (Matthew 7:7).
Community
You Were Made for Community
The Christian life is not a solo journey. From the very beginning, God said it was not good for man to be alone — and that applies to our faith as much as anything else. We grow faster, stay stronger, and love better when we do it together.
If you don't have a local church, we encourage you to find one. Look for a community that teaches the Bible faithfully, welcomes honest questions, and loves people well. If you need help finding one, reach out — we'd love to point you in the right direction.
